About the Bowheads

Big Bows for Little Bowheads started out of necessity in 2015 when my daughter’s cheer program needed “Pink Out” bows for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. I knew nothing about cheer bows then, but I knew we needed pink ones and I set out to make them. 

From there, bows became a hobby, then a side hustle, and now here we are. 

There is nothing more I love in the world than seeing how happy a big bow makes a little girl. Whether it’s the rhinestones, the glitter, the funny sayings, or a beloved character, I love bringing it all together to make that perfect something “extra” to top it all off. 

While we started out exclusively with big cheer bows, we’ve expanded to include a large variety of styles, hand-crafted with carefully sourced materials and the finest attention to detail. 

It is our greatest hope that when you become a Loyal Bowhead, you embrace your extra, your guacamole richness, your larger than life fabulosity that deserves the crowning of a perfect big bow.
